CONTROLLING GENERALIST

Gi Group HR Solutions on behalf of our client Wieland Electric GmbH, who has taken the decision to build a new site for the production of installation systems, is looking for an experienced and proactive professional to fill in the position as a Controlling Generalist.

Location: Čačak, Serbia

Main responsibilities will include:

• Technical support of the production manager in commercial matters; preparation of management decision briefs;
• Communication with external service providers such as accountants, payroll accountants, auditors, tax advisors, government agencies and banks;
• Preparation and drafting of monthly and annual financial statements;
• Evaluation, analysing and comment on the effects of planned measures (e.g. cost structure, capacity utilization, profitability, unit costs, results);
• Performing profitability calculations for the assigned area according to standard company procedures (e.g., investment calculations);
• Execution of planning, control, monitoring and cost-efficiency calculations based on financial and economic targets;
• Preparation of periodic planning, i.e. activities (such as sales and earnings key performance indicators) and costs (direct and overhead costs) based on the production schedule, investment planning, capacity planning;
• Verifying the plausibility of the underlying overall planning data;
• Determining and processing key performance indicators, such as productivity, profitability, and capital commitment;
• Supporting the development of new methods of operational controlling;
• Close cooperation with headquarter in Germany including the reports of KPIs

Requirements:

• University degree in finance area;
• At least 3-5 years of experience in similar role, preferably in production environment;
• Analytical mind-set, ability to work in a structured, systematic and deadline-focused way;
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• PC literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access), as well as SAP R/3, modules FI/CO/BW
