ABOUT THE ROLE

Gecić Law, one of Southeast Europe's foremost full-service law firms and winner of The Lawyer European Awards, is seeking an experienced Counsel to join our Belgrade team. You will lead complex client mandates across practice areas, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the continued growth of our internationally recognized firm.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage complex legal matters across multiple practice areas
• Act as primary client contact and develop long-term client relationships
• Supervise, guide, and mentor associates and senior associates
• Contribute to business development initiatives and firm strategy
• Prepare and review high-quality legal opinions, contracts, and submissions
• Represent clients before courts, arbitral tribunals, and regulatory bodies
• Actively contribute to practice development, client relationship management, and business development initiatives
• Contribute to the firm's thought leadership, publications, and seminars

REQUIREMENTS

• Bar admission in Serbia; LL.M. from a reputable institution is an advantage
• Minimum 7 years of post-admission experience in corporate law
• Proven track record managing complex, multi-jurisdictional matters
• Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken)
• Strong leadership, organizational, and client management skills
