Customer Solution Specialist for Vaccines

Heads Talent Solutions has partnered with MSD, a global pharmaceutical and healthcare company committed to advancing the well-being of people around the world. They are expanding the team in Serbia and looking for a motivated Customer Solution Specialist.

The Customer Solution Specialist is the MSD Vaccines point of contact in the allocated region. CSS will report to Sales Manager Vaccines. In collaboration and alignment with Vaccines team, CSS needs to provide a highly effective customer experience, ensuring that MSD delivers value to patients, payers and physicians and become a trusted partner. This is a critical role for MSD's Commercial Model.

The CSS sales and financial responsibilities:

• Responsibility for business result within assigned territory - achieving/exceeding sales targets and agreed KPI's but staying within the approved promotional budgets
• Sales and customer plan development
• Customer prioritization, setting goals for priority customers and evaluation of achievements through regular market and sales data analysis.

The CSS Customer engagement responsibilities:

• Anticipation of customer needs and ensuring good product knowledge of targeted Customers
• High level of scientific/clinical knowledge is required to provide approved disease & therapeutic solutions (e.g. approved product information and patient education) to selected Customers.
• Creating and managing long-term relationships and partnerships with Customers
• Establish and develop relations with Key Scientific Leaders on the assigned territory providing sufficient support materials and information on MSD products
• The CSS proactively identifies business opportunities and supports appropriate pull-through and understands current state and evolving landscape of integrated payers in the country
• Developing and implementing activity plans for Key Customers
• Effective meetings organization for physicians, providing product presentations, leading discussions in a highly professional manner. Actively helps to organize regional and national symposia as required.

The CSS collaboration responsibilities:

• Implementation of Marketing strategy in collaboration with Marketing Lead and provide timely feedback on impact
• Active participation at regular Vaccines Team business update meetings
• Providing feedback and local expertise to members of the Vaccines Team
• Active member of cross-functional team within MSD on projects that respond to customers and business needs in assigned accounts.
• Administrative tasks like timely CRM reporting, organization and/or coordination of national, regional and local events coordination
• Under his/her responsibility assures highest ethical principles conducting Local law, MSD SOPs and regulations
• Ability to work in a very complex setting and across many functions and levels and across different customer types

Qualification requirements:

• Minimum: Healthcare education, Bachelor, or University degree from an accredited university, preferably Medical Doctor or Pharmacists
• Commercial experience within Pharma
• Experience in a primary care environment is preferable
• Ability to manage customers, to influence without authority, and to create and carry out action plans in matrix cross-functional team structures
• Exhibit strong problem-solving, project planning, teamwork, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills
• Fluent in conversational and written English
