We are seeking a Data Engineer to become an integral part of our data and analytics team. This position involves building, deploying, and maintaining advanced data pipelines that enable both real-time and batch processing workflows. The successful candidate will work across diverse network and IT infrastructure domains, supporting AI‑enabled solutions. This role is suited for individuals who enjoy hands-on engineering and are passionate about working with data pipelines, orchestration, and applied AI within production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and operate reliable, scalable ETL/ELT workflows across multiple data sources.
- Maintain and extend the data ingestion framework to handle large-scale network telemetry, log data, and KPIs.
- Develop chatbots and AI assistants utilizing:Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG)
- On‑premise, open‑source LLM solutions
- Integrate AI solutions with internal data platforms, APIs, and knowledge bases.
- Contribute documentation, best practices, and platform standardization
Required Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, PySpark, etc.) and dbt for data transformation and scripting
- Advanced SQL (analytical queries, window functions, performance tuning)
- Good command of Linux/Unix environments
- Experience with Docker containers and orchestration using Kubernetes
- Workflow automation using Apache Airflow (DAG creation, scheduling, dependencies)
- Exposure to monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) is a plus
- Experience with LLMs, RAG architecture, or AI chatbots is a plus
- Knowledge of data warehousing or Lakehouse architecture
Soft Skills & Expectations:
- Structured, self-managed, and capable of working independently
- Strong team collaboration in Agile/Scrum environments
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Continuous learning with a proactive approach to new technologies and patterns
