Demand Planning Specialist

We are partnering with a leading FMCG company, known for its strong market presence and diverse portfolio of well-established brands. As part of their continuous growth, we are looking for a Demand Planning Specialist to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze historical sales data, seasonal trends, and market dynamics
• Develop and maintain short-term and long-term demand forecasts by SKU, channel, region, and country
• Align demand forecasts with sales plans, promotional activities, and the marketing calendar
• Actively participate in the S&OP process to ensure timely information sharing and support decision-making
• Monitor forecast accuracy by analyzing deviations between planned and actual demand and propose corrective actions (SFA, root cause analysis, ABC segmentation, weather impact, trends, etc.)
• Prepare bi-weekly distributor inventory reports
• Monitor, report, and propose actions for products with short shelf life across markets
• Manage inventory levels of traded goods to ensure optimal stock while maintaining target service levels across markets
• Handle supply-demand imbalances by collaborating with stakeholders to define priorities and ensure achievement of key business objectives
• Participate in process improvement initiatives, company projects, and implementation of new system solutions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business goals and improve supply chain processes

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the FMCG industry
• Bachelor’s degree
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Excellent coordination and communication skills
• Proactive mindset with a strong ability to improve processes
