Deputy Design Manager

Position: Deputy Design Manager

We are seeking a proactive Deputy Design Manager to join our growing team in Serbia.

Job Description:

• Close cooperation and coordination with the partner contractor company, design subcontractor company, supervisor, and employer/client
• Reviews design documentation prepared by the design subcontractor to ensure completeness, accuracy, clarity, and compliance with the approved design criteria, Terms of Reference (ToRs), professional standards, Serbian laws, technical feasibility requirements, and the Project budget
• Proposes alternative design solutions (to the design subcontractor) that are more suitable for execution and more cost-effective
• Provides detailed comments and recommendations to the design subcontractor including recommendations required for approval of all submittals by the Engineer/Supervisor and Employer/Client
• Implements a design change procedure initiated by subcontractors
• Provides support to subcontractors for any additional design clarifications and coordination with the Designer
• Correspondence with Employer/Client, Engineer/Supervisor, Public authorities, and other agencies
• Accomplish other tasks required by the Chief Design Manager

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Valid license 310/341
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in structural infrastructure design
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, ArmCAD, and Tower software
• In-depth knowledge of Serbian laws, regulations, standards, and specifications
• Strong command of the English language (written and spoken)
