For our client, Serbia Zijin Copper d.o.o., one of the leading copper and precious metals producers in Serbia and a member of the international Zijin Mining Group, we are looking for an experienced professional to join the Legal Department in the position of:

Deputy Manager of Legal Department

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing professional and operational support to the Head of the Legal Department
• Coordinating and organizing the Legal Department's activities in cooperation with other organizational units
• Drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts and other legal documentation
• Providing legal advice and opinions to management on various legal matters
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and internal company regulations
• Participating in contract negotiations, preparation, and execution
• Representing the company before courts, administrative authorities, and other relevant institutions
• Cooperating with local and international teams while providing legal support to various business functions across the company
• Participating in strategic decision-making processes and contributing to the continuous improvement of business operations

Qualifications:

• University degree in Law
• Passed Serbian Bar Exam and Serbian Judicial Exam
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience
• Previous experience working within large and complex industrial organizations is considered an advantage
• Previous experience in team leadership or coordinating the work of colleagues is considered an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of Labour Law, Law of Obligations (Contract Law), Corporate Law, and related legal fields
• Advanced English language skills, both written and spoken
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
