Your job:

• Development and Design of Luminaires (custom products);
• Industrialization of custom products (Design for X, define drawings and whiring schemes, create BOMs)
• Modification of existing reference products
• Verification of Feasibility and Compliance to existing standards (especially in case of taking over external concepts)
• Continuous Improvement of existing portfolio (range extensions and engineering change management)
• Range extension within existing product families
• Q-Improvement
• Value Engineering and Cost-Improvement

• Technical Consulting

Your profile:

• University of Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Construction and project experience is beneficial
• Mechanical engineering, basic knowledge of electrical engineering and electronics, basic business knowledge, knowledge of lighting technology, knowledge of products and production possibilities, operational and organizational knowledge
• English, additional foreign languages are beneficial
• Business contacts:
  • internal - CPD-Development, R&D, operations / production, Controlling, work planning, operation control, laboratory, lighting technology, logistic, product marketing, purchasing, After Sales 
  • external - sales organizations, customers, planners, architects, external producers, suppliers
