Design Engineer

Job Description:

• Provides technical support for the design, development, implementation, and acceptance of project documentation and deliverables.
• Acts as the primary technical point of contact for the client regarding optical networks and other network infrastructure requirements.
• Responsible for the development and quality control of designs produced by subcontractors.
• Reviews and validates technical solutions, preliminary designs (Concept Design), and detailed designs (Main Project) developed by subcontractors and/or Huawei.
• Assists in clarifying technical solutions for site engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless execution.
• Responsible for optimizing engineering standards, templates, and workflows; communicates Huawei’s requirements to subcontractors and site engineers through dedicated training and workshops.
• Provides support to Senior Design Engineers, Project Managers, and the Technical Department Manager.
• Performs additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above related to Telecommunication Technology, Computer Science & Technology, Information Technology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in English is required
• Strong reconciliation skills
• Excellent organizational, planning, interpersonal, communication, analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and be prepared to work in a fast moving and multi-cultural environment with fluency in English and ability to work under pressure meeting strict deadlines
