DevOps Engineer

Job description

• Strong experience in scripting infrastructure as a code, using Terraform, Ansible etc.
• Strong experience in developing CI/CD pipeline solutions using best practices and security measures in Jenkins, Bitbucket pipelines, etc.
• Must have Experience in Container and Container Orchestration like Docker, Kubernetes (k8 cluster) etc.
• Strong experience in Network configuration – VPC , Public/Private facing networks, SSL configurations, enforcing security measures to secure data-at-rest and data-in-transit.
• Strong knowledge of VM management, OS Linux, Windows platforms…
• Good understanding of Microservices architecture and deployment of the same keeping in mind service discovery, fault tolerance, common configuration server, interservice communication, load balancing, high availability etc.
• Experience in deploying/configuring logging/monitoring/visualization dashboard tools like ELK,Grafana, Splunk,Wazuh, Zabbix etc.
• Should be willing to explore and calibrate new technologies to understand the technical and commercial feasibility of the application and integration into the system.

Responsibilities

• Building and setting up new development environments and infrastructure
• Automate the development cycle using the pipelines
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Working closely with the development team to understand the applications and propose a scalable deployment strategy
• Maintaining multiple environments of various applications
• Should be able to work independently and provide viable solutions keeping in mind the technical and commercial feasibility of the solution
