The essential education, experience and skills requirements are:
- University degree in public affairs, journalism, digital marketing, communications, public relations, or related fields.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in digital campaigns, social media management, content creation, public affairs and media domain.
- Technical skills: Extensive experience/knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop) or other similar relevant platforms and Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Platform knowledge: Expertise in social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X).
- Core competencies: Strong copywriting, project management, data analysis, and creative thinking.

In Part Two, you are required to provide information and examples of your work experience, which show that you meet the essential requirements for the position.
Language Requirements: Applicants must possess the following language skills in Reading / Writing / Listening / Speaking:
English – Very good (Full professional knowledge of a language enough for educated standard speech in any situation, with broad and precise vocabulary and appropriate to the subject in discussion. Drafting high level correspondence, technical documents with minimum need for review.)

Candidates who are shortlisted for the position will be required to undertake a Language Proficiency Test as part of the selection process.

Information on the Post
The Digital Media Analyst is responsible for creating, developing and implementing social media campaigns aimed at transparently informing the general public about MLO Belgrade’s mission and effectively promoting NATO’s core values, principles and policies in line with applicable NATO policies and procedures.
The analyst is responsible for creating new digital content and managing all MLO Be’s digital platforms in line with NATO policies and procedures. The analyst contributes to MLO Be’s efforts to promote NATO’s strategic messaging in the Balkans under direction and guidance delivered by JFCNP and SHAPE, and NATO HQs.

This position is a Local Civilian Hire post LCH-7. The post holder must be a national and/or legal resident of Serbia and will work in MLO Belgrade.
The gross salary for LCH-7 is €2,798.00 per month.
Other employment benefits include:
- Affiliation to a Group Medical Insurance Scheme (premiums shared between employee and employer).
- 24 days annual leave per calendar year
- Up to 7 special leave days per calendar year
- Up to 11 official/national holidays per calendar year.
Before any appointment is confirmed, the preferred candidate will be required to provide a certificate of no criminal record from the Serbian authorities and pass a Medical Examination arranged by MLO Belgrade, certifying fitness to work.
The successful candidate will be offered a 12-month initial contract which may be converted into an indefinite duration contract subject to satisfactory performance and the continued operational need/funding for the position.
