A Belgrade-based hotel management company is looking for a:

Director of Sales and Marketing

for Viceroy Kopaonik, the first 5-star mountain resort in Serbia

Work location: Belgrade

General purpose of the job:

• To position the hotel in the marketplace through appropriate sales and marketing initiatives and to provide leadership in all selling and marketing activities within the hotel, working closely with revenue-generating departments to maximise sales

Responsible to:

• General Manager

Essential Duties:

• Manage all hotel brand contacts including all sales and marketing communications, to enforce and maintain the hotel’s brand positioning and concept outlined in the hotel’s Annual Business Plan
• Prepare, utilise and update an Annual Sales Plan, broken down by departments
• Constantly monitor and evaluate local, national and international market trends, and the competitor hotels’ sales initiatives, to make sure the hotel’s marketing and sales remain competitive and cutting edge
• Manage integrated marketing communications, including hotel advertising, promotions, collateral, and e-marketing, making sure that they are targeted, effective in producing a reasonable ROI, within budget, and comply with brand standards, policies and procedures
• Direct and manage the forecasting process in conjunction with the Director of Reservations and Revenue to insure accurate, timely and complete information

Requirements:

• Minimum five years of experience in sales and/or marketing in tourism and hospitality
• Excellent selling capabilities
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Strong analytical skills so to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges
• Relevant degree in sales, marketing, hospitality, business development or other relevant business field, from an academic institution
• Fluency in both written and spoken Serbian and English, additional language is advantageous
• IT literacy
• Active driver
• Pre-opening Hotel experience is advantageous
