What You’ll Do

• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections (including checks for unsafe acts and conditions), basic compliance audits, and risk assessments to identify and control hazards.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, prepare reports, follow up on corrective and preventive actions, and report incidents to relevant government authorities (e.g., the Labor Inspectorate) as required by law.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date health and safety (H&S) records, documentation, and reporting materials in accordance with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Organize and support employee safety training, toolbox talks, and H&S awareness activities.
• Manage contractor safety, including issuing work permits, conducting on-site supervision, and performing compliance checks.
• Inspect and maintain firefighting equipment to ensure it is in good condition, fully functional, and readily available.
• Support customer audits, external inspections, and internal H&S reviews, and follow up on required actions.
• Ensure all H&S activities comply with applicable laws and regulations, including requirements for equipment inspections, work environment monitoring (e.g., noise, dust, and lighting), and employee occupational health examinations.

What We’re Looking For

• Passed Serbian state professional examination in Occupational Health and Safety (BZR). Passed Serbian state professional examination in Fire Protection (ZOP).
• Relevant experience in occupational health and safety, including workplace safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Knowledge of applicable H&S laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with contractor safety management, fire safety, equipment inspections, work environment monitoring, and occupational health requirements.
• Good documentation and reporting skills, with the ability to maintain accurate H&S records and support audits and inspections.
• Ability to organize and support employee safety training and awareness activities.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to influence others, gain acceptance of recommendations, and secure cooperation across internal teams.
