For the needs of our “Čoka Rakita” Project department in the in the territory of the municipality of Žagubica, we are currently looking to recruit a candidate for the Electrical Engineer position.
Role Purpose:
Provides expert support in the planning, coordination, control and execution of electrical, instrumentation and control engineering activities, in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, technical standards, project documentation and Company requirements.
The role is responsible for ensuring the timely, safe, high-quality and cost-effective delivery of project tasks and investment activities. This includes coordinating contractors and suppliers, contributing to the preparation and review of technical documentation, monitoring project costs and schedules, and ensuring that technical solutions, equipment deliveries, construction activities and plant operations are aligned with defined project objectives, approved budgets, and occupational health and safety requirements.
Description of responsibilities:
- Supports the planning, coordination and execution of electrical, instrumentation and control engineering activities, in accordance with applicable legislation, technical standards, project requirements and Company procedures;
- Coordinates with contractors, suppliers, operational teams and other project stakeholders to support the timely and efficient delivery of project activities;
- Participates in engineering design reviews, technical inspections, equipment testing and verification of electrical, instrumentation and control systems;
- Supports the preparation and review of technical documentation, project estimates, material quantities, tender documentation and project schedules;
- Contributes to the technical evaluation of contractor and supplier offers, ensuring compliance with specifications, scope of work and project requirements;
- Monitors equipment deliveries and construction activities to ensure compliance with approved technical documentation and defined quality standards;
- Supports project cost control and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and mitigate schedule delays or scope changes;
- Assists with the preparation of technical documentation for submission to relevant authorities and institutions in the Republic of Serbia;
- Provides technical support to engineers and operational teams regarding electrical systems, equipment and instrumentation;
- Supports the commissioning, operational readiness and proper maintenance of plant equipment and systems;
- Ensures compliance with occupational health and safety requirements and safe work practices for employees, contractors and consultants;
- Participates in incident and unsafe-event investigations and supports the delivery and recording of safety training;
- Performs other duties and tasks assigned by the line manager, in accordance with business needs and professional qualifications.
Requirements:
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline;
- Relevant experience in electrical, instrumentation, and control systems, preferably in industrial or mining projects;
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, control systems, and related technical documentation;
- Ability to coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams;
- Good understanding of applicable standards, safety requirements, and regulatory compliance;
