The role:

  • Ensures timely preparation and approval for necessary plans and programmes, technical instructions and other documentation, plans and initiates development of project and other technical documentation within his/her scope of work;
  • Performs professional supervision on performance of activities within his/her scope of work, controls that instalment of electrical facilities is performed in compliance with project documentation and ensures orderly implementation of technical standards for electrical facilities and devices;
  • He/she is responsible for organizing regular periodical inspections of electrical devices, facilities and installations in compliance with rulebooks, other regulations and standards;
  • Compiles all necessary reports and records on work process, on which basis he/she directly instructs or recommends to his immediate superior instructing of proper work orders;
  • Promotes safe, healthy and environmentally friendly workplace behaviour and sets an example in regards to implementation of occupational health and safety measures within the scope of his/her work;
  • Develops operational procedures within his/her scope of work;
  • Reports timely and accurately to his superior and is responsible for data accuracy;
  • Adhering to ethical principles of the profession and acting in accordance with company policies and procedures;
  • Performing other duties within their education at the request of the immediate superior;
  • He/she is obliged and responsible, within the scope of his/her work, to implement measures for safe and healthy work in accordance with the safety and health at work, other relevant regulations and the Rules on Safety and Health at Work;
  • Observing environmental measures and fire protection within the scope of his/hers duties,
  • Participating in ensuring the functioning of the quality system in accordance with quality standards.

The successful applicant:

  • Acquired higher education in field of Electrical Engineering on master academic or equivalent studies;
  • Minimum 3 years of previous work experience;
  • Excellent English level;
  • Excellent computer skills – AutoCAD, MS Office;
  • Acquired state (professional) exam and previous work experience in the mining industry shall be considered as an advantage;
  • Able to perform job function with a minimum of daily supervision;
  • Adaptable to a high-pressure environment;
  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability;
  • Excellent planning and organization skills to meet deadlines;
  • Co-operative and supportive team player.
