The Electrical Engineer works for Electrical Engineering. Within this department the engineer handles the electrical engineering of a project from start to finish as part of a project team.

Tasks and responsibilities (In scope):

• Drawing up sketches to a full-fledged electrical drawing package
• Supplying electrical project documentation
• Supporting Production & Warehousing, Commissioning & Services and Purchase with regards to electrical implementation of projects
• Being closely involved with projects from Kick Off until handover to Production & Warehousing
• Making electrotechnical calculations
• Drawing up pneumatic schemes designed by the Mechanical Engineer
• Communication with customers and suppliers with regards to detailing the projects
• Creating a components list in CAD systems and ERP system
• Creating spare and wear part lists
• Creating project specific documentation
• Giving input for the risk assessment
• Discussing technical depth of projects with Electrical Engineering and Automation
• Offering project related support to various departments after handover to Production & Warehousing
• Monitoring the project schedule and reporting deviations to the Project Leader
• Implementing changes in standards in consultation with the Engineering Manager
• Performing tasks at sites abroad in specific cases
