Job Description:

As the electrical expert on the team, you will work across sensor technology, drive systems, wiring, and safety circuits. You will diagnose electrical faults, replace defective components, and ensure the facility remains electrically safe and available around the clock.

• Analyze electrical faults such as sensor failures, drive issues, and cable breaks, and resolve them quickly
• Inspect, adjust, and replace sensors, including light barriers, encoders, and inductive or capacitive sensors
• Maintain drive motors and frequency converters, check parameters, and replace defective components
• Monitor safety circuits, emergency stop systems, and light curtains to ensure compliance with standards
• Locate cable breaks, repair wiring, and document changes clearly
• Work closely with mechanical and automation colleagues, as well as the remote engineering support team

Requirements:

• Educational or training background in electronics or similar
• Knowledge or experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems, ideally in intralogistics, automation, or mechanical engineering
• Ability to read and apply electrical circuit diagrams
• English language skills, minimum B1/B2 level, for team communication and remote support
• Flexibility for 24/7 shift work – the team works in a 3-shift model with 6 employees rotating across all shifts, so no one is permanently assigned to a single shift. On average, each technician works the night shift only about once every few months
• High self-motivation, a solution-oriented mindset, and strong team skills
• Nice to have: experience with industrial drive technology, basic knowledge of Siemens PLC (TIA Portal, S7), experience with safety technology, and switching authorization for work under voltage
