Electro and Automation Manager (m/f) The main purpose of this position is to manage the design, implementation and start-up phases of capital investment projects on the manufacturing site and to ensure that the objectives of the investment project charter, design specifications and Nestlé standards are implemented and adhered to.
A day in the life of Electro and Automation Manager
- Lead&Manage Automation Team and Factory Automation strategy creation and implementation
- Responsible to provide Team support for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Electricity and Automation (E&A) professional and technical operational activities and during participation in CAPEX projects; enforcing that all MES-E&A activities enhance business objectives, product quality and plant operation/performance while ensuring that people health and safety, product safety, and environment are never compromised.
- Participates and/or Leads in Capital Investments projects in the factory ensuring that the technical solution follows corporate and market standards and is delivered with the expected quality, being on time and in budget.
- Responsible to support preparation of the user and technical specifications, coordinating the requirements of the main users (production, quality, etc.), the follow up of the solution development, the pre-test, implementation and training of operators and maintenance crews
- Ensure Process & Equipment safety for people, products and environment
- Participates in the implementation of engineering tools at site level (i.e. NSAT, AMM, etc.), and in the in the Maintenance&Improvement (M&I) activities in the factory
- Ensures that all MES-E&A installations comply with market and corporate safety, health, environment, product safety and product quality standards
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree – Faculty of Electrical Engineering/Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 year of relevant work experience in factory environment
- Managing a team of people (technical, contractor or sub-contractor)
- Participating in the development of engineering projects as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Participation in the start-up of technical equipment and/or production lines
- "Self-management" and Team management through proactive monitoring of KPIs and goals
- Exposure to TPM, preventive maintenance planning and/or preventive plan execution is desirable, but not essential
- Advanced user of MS Office package
- Advanced knowledge of English language
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
