Email Marketing Specialist (Klaviyo)

We are currently seeking an experienced Email Marketing Specialist with expertise in Klaviyo to join our team in support of our US-based partner company, Second Screen Digital. Second Screen Digital is a full-funnel, data-driven marketing agency providing a wide range of services – from paid search and social to content production, UGC, SEO, and website design.

As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for strategizing, developing campaign ideas, briefing the creative team, and building emails in Klaviyo.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Campaign Planning

• Develop and execute a comprehensive email marketing strategy aligned with revenue goals
• Plan and manage campaign calendars (promotions, product launches, lifecycle flows, seasonal campaigns)
• Identify opportunities across the customer journey (welcome, abandoned cart, winback, upsell, etc.)
• Translate business goals into high-performing email initiatives

Klaviyo Expertise & Execution

• Own and manage all email marketing within Klaviyo
• Build, launch, and optimize campaigns and automated flows
• Create advanced segmentation strategies based on behavior, engagement, and purchase data
• Maintain list health, deliverability, and compliance best practices

A/B Testing & Optimization

• Design and execute strategic A/B tests (subject lines, creative, timing, segmentation, offers)
• Continuously analyze results and iterate based on performance insights
• Optimize for key KPIs: open rate, click-through rate, conversion rate, and revenue per recipient
• Implement a structured testing roadmap (not random guesswork)

Performance & Revenue Ownership

• Track, analyze, and report on campaign and flow performance
• Identify revenue-driving opportunities and areas for improvement
• Use data to inform decisions and prioritize high-impact initiatives
• Work toward measurable growth in email-attributed revenue

Campaign Execution

• Build and deploy email campaigns end-to-end (copy, layout, segmentation, scheduling)
• Collaborate with design and content teams (or handle basic execution independently)
• Ensure campaigns are on-brand, optimized for mobile, and conversion-focused

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing email marketing with Klaviyo (required)
• Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing and customer segmentation
• Demonstrated ability to drive revenue through email campaigns
• Experience with A/B testing frameworks and performance optimization
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and act on insights
• Strong copy and campaign instincts (you know what makes people click and buy)
• Ability to balance strategy and hands-on execution
• Good English communication skills
• Familiarity with HubSpot, Google Analytics, Shopify, Figma, and Canva – plus
