Aluminium Plant Podgorica (KAP) is part of the Central European Aluminium Company (CEAC), which was created to manage the assets of EN + Group in Central-Eastern Europe. KAP is the biggest industrial corporation in Montenegro and represents 51% of the Montenegrin export.

One of the key initiatives of our work is environmental protection and thus we are searching for a successful candidate who is motivated and goal oriented for the position of:

Enviromental Manager

Podgorica

Responsibilities:

Organization and development of the system of management of environment in KAP

Main duties:

Organizes the system and reporting control on emissions and contamination of soil and water
Communicates with relevant government institutions dealing with environment
Prepares and implements necessary policies and procedures for the functioning of the environmental management
Controls implementation of all required standards within the plant
Controls implementation of ISO standards in the Company
Follow the legal framework and is acquainted with all environmental laws of the Republic of Montenegro
Lobbying and protection of Companies interest in environmental management

Qualifications & work experience:

University degree (technical, metallurgical, chemical)
Theoretical knowledge (chemical)
Strong character with excellent communication and organizational skills
Capability to work under pressure in a dynamic business environment
Minimum 3 (three) years of managerial work experience in aluminium, metallurgical/steel or chemical industry
Experience in relationship with public sector and specialist organizations
Knowledge of positive environmental laws
Experience (best practice projects) in protection of Companies interests
Excellent knowledge of English & PC skills. Knowledge of Russian will be considered as an advantage but is not obligatory
