Job Summary

We are seeking an efficient, highly motivated Truck Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate must have a solid foundation in the trucking industry and specialized experience handling flatbed freight. You will be responsible for booking high-paying loads, communicating with drivers, managing route logistics, and maintaining strong relationships with brokers.

Key Responsibilities

• Load Booking & Negotiation: Source, negotiate, and book profitable loads using major load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop) and broker networks.
• Driver Coordination: Dispatch flatbed drivers, plan optimized routes, and provide accurate loading/unloading instructions.
• Flatbed Management: Ensure proper understanding of flatbed-specific requirements, including tarping, strapping, permits, and weight restrictions.
• Tracking & Compliance: Monitor shipments in real time, update clients, and ensure full compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Problem Solving: Resolve transit delays, equipment issues, and broker disputes efficiently.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience in the truck dispatching industry (Required).
• Equipment Expertise: Proven hands-on experience specifically with flatbed equipment and freight logistics (Required).
• Tools: Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), GPS tracking, and standard load boards.
• Skills: Strong negotiation skills, excellent verbal communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
