Experienced Truck Driver Recruiter (US Trucking Industry)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Truck Driver Recruiter to join our growing team. If you have a strong background in recruiting CDL drivers for the US trucking industry, excellent communication skills, and a results-driven mindset, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and recruit qualified CDL drivers for over-the-road (OTR), regional, and local positions.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle from initial contact to onboarding.
• Conduct phone interviews and assess candidates based on company requirements.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified driver candidates.
• Follow up with applicants throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and update applicant tracking systems.
• Collaborate with the safety, operations, and onboarding teams to ensure a smooth hiring process.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience recruiting CDL drivers in the US trucking industry.
• Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and CDL driver qualification requirements.
• Experience using recruiting platforms such as Indeed, Tenstreet, Driver Pulse, Facebook, Craigslist, or other sourcing channels.
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Strong negotiation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple openings simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience recruiting owner-operators and company drivers.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance and driver onboarding procedures.
• Experience working in a fast-paced trucking environment.
