Experienced Trucking Accounting Representative

We are looking for an Experienced Trucking Accounting Representative!

Join our team at a US-based transportation and logistics company, operating from our office in Novi Sad, Serbia. 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years of accounting experience within the US trucking industry with a solid grasp of accounting principles and procedures.

Required:

• Fluent in English (both written and spoken English must be excellent)
• Bachelor's degree in economics
• Advanced proficiency is required in:
• Microsoft Excel,
• DocuSign, 
• Adobe Acrobat, 
• QuickBooks,

• Organized, and detail-oriented person

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the billing system and ensure accuracy in invoicing
• Generate invoices and account statements in a timely manner
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Maintain accounts receivable files and records for efficient tracking and management
• Produce monthly financial and management reports for review
• Investigate and resolve any irregularities or inquiries regarding accounts
• Enter invoices into the accounts payable system and process payments accurately
• File and maintain supplier records for reference and audit purposes
• Check and verify invoices against purchase orders and contracts
• Prepare checks for payment and ensure adherence to payment schedules
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as required by supervisors to support accounting functions

Must be able to work second shifts (14h - 22h) from our office (Novi Sad); no remote work options available
