Extra Low Voltage Engineer

Job Description

PC Europe Builder is looking for an Extra Low Voltage Engineer to join the National Stadium MEP Project Department in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia. The daily tasks of this position include, but are not limited to:

1. Responsible for coordinating relations between the extra-low voltage (ELV) subcontractor and the main contractor, design team, supervision team and other disciplines, driving the timely resolution and closure of ELV-related issues. Promptly identify interface conflicts, missing construction conditions and cross-operation issues, and organize relevant parties to coordinate solutions.
2. Review ELV-related drawings and technical documents, focusing on interfaces, conflicts and site constructability with architecture, interior decoration, MEP/HVAC, fire protection and other disciplines, and drive relevant parties to complete confirmations.
3. Track ELV site construction progress, coordinate site work fronts, blockouts/embedments, equipment installation conditions, inter-disciplinary crossovers and construction sequences. Provide timely feedback on site technical issues and push for resolutions.
4. Track the ELV subcontractor's drawings, materials and equipment, construction, inspection applications and rectification progress. Provide early warnings and drive solutions for issues affecting critical project milestones.
5. Participate in or organize special ELV coordination meetings, design coordination meetings, construction coordination meetings and commissioning coordination meetings as required by the project.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Communication Engineering, Electronic Information, Building Intelligence or related fields.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in ELV or building intelligence engineering. Experience in large public buildings, sports venues or commercial complexes is preferred. Must have full-lifecycle ELV management experience, from design coordination and construction to final completion inspection, in at least 2 complete large-scale projects.
3. Familiarity with major ELV subsystems such as Fire Alarm Systems, BMS, Structured Cabling Systems, Access Control, CCTV and Communication Networks.
4. Proficiency in reading ELV design drawings, with strong capabilities in discipline interface coordination, site troubleshooting and subcontractor management.
5. Excellent communication and coordination skills, with proficient English skills and good listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities.
6. Holding a Responsible Engineer License in ELV/Electrical Engineering issued by the Serbian Chamber of Engineers (e.g., Serbian License 453) is preferred.
7. Experience working with or in Chinese-funded enterprises is preferred.
