About the role and the Team: 

The Finance Analyst – FP&A will strengthen the FP&A team's delivery by supporting the production of monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities, reducing single point of failure risk and enabling senior team members to focus on review, insight and business partnering. The role is critical to improving the quality, consistency and resilience of FP&A processes, and will contribute to getting the finance function fit for ERP implementation.

What will you be doing?

Monthly Reporting & Performance Support

• Support the production of monthly KPIs and financial reporting
• Assist with month end processes, including data validation, reconciliations and variance analysis
• Prepare supporting schedules and analysis for management and executive reporting packs
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness and consistency of financial data

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Support the budget and forecast consolidation models, working closely with senior FP&A colleagues
• Assist with data collection, model updates and scenario analysis
• Support Senior Manager to maintain forecasting tools and templates, ensuring version control and data integrity

Analysis & Insight

• Produce routine and ad hoc analysis on financial performance, cost drivers and trends
• Support deeper analysis of variances between actuals, budget and forecast
• Contribute to insight that supports decision making by senior finance and business stakeholders

Process Improvement & Controls

• Generate improvements to FP&A processes, controls and documentation
• Support to reduce key person dependency across reporting and forecasting activities
• Contribute to preparing the team for future ERP and systems transformation

Collaboration & Development

• Work closely with FP&A Managers and Analysts across locations
• Build strong working relationships with Central Finance and Commercial Finance teams
• Actively engage in learning and development opportunities within FP&A

What we are looking for:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline; Interested in and/or already studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/equivalent)
• 1–3 years' experience in a finance, FP&A or analytical role (or strong graduate with relevant placements)
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
• High attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude
• Ability to manage deadlines in a monthly reporting cycle
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
