ASTER SERBIA – More than 550 employees
The production factory set up in Nis, Serbia as an Aster Companies Group subsidiary was incorporated into the Group in 2015. The factory manufactures knitted and woven garments by importing fabric and accessories from Aster Textile Turkey.

Finance and Export - Import Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Organizing and controlling the work of the Finance, Accounting, and Import-Export Department.
- Providing financial reports, interpreting financial information to management teams in Serbia and Turkey, recommending further courses of action.
- Overseeing audit and tax functions
- Developing and implementing accounting policies
- Analyzes costs and results, as well as actual company performance compared to business plans.
- Monitoring and analyzing trends and projections for company finances.
- Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities.
- Preparing the company's budget.
- Liaising with auditors to ensure proper monitoring of company finances.
- Corresponding with various other departments, discussing company plans, and agreeing on future courses of action.
Requirements and skills
- Master's degree in business administration preferably, economics or another relevant field.
- Minimum 10 years of responsible experience in administrative and financial management in an international development environment
- Detailed knowledge of the work environment and law in Serbia.
- Excellent organizational and supervisory skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks and support program implementation while ensuring adherence to required policies and protocols.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated diplomacy and the ability to communicate effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) are required for effective implementation, analysis, monitoring, and management of activity objectives, inputs, results, and achievements.
- Fluency in English and Serbian is required.
- Knowledge of IFRS standards
