Finance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting for the factory, including journal entries, month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation in compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Oversee accounting for free trade zone (FTZ) activities, such as bonded materials, procurement, processing, and domestic sales, ensuring compliance with FTZ regulations.
• Handle import/export-related accounting, including foreign exchange settlements, VAT/customs duties, and export tax rebates. Maintain relevant customs documentation and support audits by customs and tax authorities.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) and internal management reports. 
• Coordinate VAT, corporate income tax, and other tax filings. Coordinate the export tax rebate process and ensure full compliance with tax regulations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and assisting with audit-related follow-up.
• Sort, file and maintain financial vouchers, ledgers, statements, and import/export & bonded documents; ensure document completeness and traceability in line with archiving regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Supervisor/Manager and support cross-functional finance-related initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Relevant accounting certification is required.
• 2+ years of experience as a factory GL accountant, with hands-on experience in import/export accounting. FTZ experience is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of local accounting standards; IFRS knowledge is a plus, and tax regulations. Proficiency in financial systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with FTZ policies, import/export accounting, and foreign exchange regulations. Capable of handling related accounting independently.
• Good communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders (customs, tax, auditors).
• Fluent in English (required).
• High level of integrity and confidentiality, with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism. Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
