Financial Controller

AFI Serbia, part of the leading international real estate investor AFI Group, is developing large-scale office and mixed-use projects in Serbia such as: Airport city Belgrade, Business Garden, Skyline and AFI City Zmaj.

Due to the expansion of its portfolio in the Serbian real estate market and planned future development activities, AFI Management d.o.o., as a management company for the entire real estate portfolio of AFI Serbia is expanding its Finance Department and seeking a proactive and motivated candidate for the following position:

Financial Controller

Our requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial controlling and management reporting
• Knowledge of IFRS standards in real estate and construction will be considered an advantage
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Excellent MS Office skills
• Strong communication skills
• Fluency in English

Main responsibilities:

• Prepare quarterly Group reporting packages and presentations as part of the financial closing process
• Prepare and review key financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow) and management reports
• Prepare budgets and financial forecasts, and reporting on actual performance against plan
• Prepare consolidated Group financial statements for local companies
• Participate in valuation processes and supporting strategic financial initiatives
• Prepare documentation related to internal controls in line with established policies and procedures
• Prepare and submit bank reports in accordance with contractual obligations and compliance requirements
• Maintain Business Intelligence (BI) systems and support the continuous improvement of reporting tools and data quality
• Monitoring and manage cash flow performance
• Provide timely, accurate, and insightful financial analyses and ad hoc reports to support management decision-making
