As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for managing freight from pickup to delivery, negotiating rates with carriers, developing carrier and customer relationships, and ensuring smooth day-to-day transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and customers.
• Source reliable carrier capacity for available freight.
• Negotiate competitive freight rates while maximizing profitability.
• Coordinate shipments from pickup through final delivery.
• Monitor loads and provide proactive updates to customers and carriers.
• Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally.
• Verify carrier information and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and update internal systems.
• Collaborate with Dispatch, Carrier Sales, and Operations teams to ensure exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Freight Broker or Carrier Sales Representative in the USA trucking industry is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management software.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
