Freight Dispatcher (Dry Van, Reefer, USA)

Are you an experienced dispatcher ready to take the next step in your logistics career? We are looking for a professional Freight Dispatcher specializing in Dry Van / Reefer operations. In this role, you will coordinate shipments across the U.S., ensuring drivers are fully supported, loads are profitable, and every mile counts. Responsibilities

• Find and secure Dry Van / Reefer loads for a fleet of 5+ trucks, maximizing gross revenue and minimizing deadhead.
• Plan routes efficiently considering driver hours, load requirements, and delivery priorities.
• Communicate daily with drivers to guide, support, and solve issues in real time.
• Negotiate with brokers, manage rate confirmations, and handle all shipment documentation (BOL, POD, invoices).
• Track and update dispatch systems to ensure full visibility of every truck’s status.
• Coordinate with Safety and Fleet teams regarding securement, temperature control, and compliance.

Requirements

• At least 2 year of proven U.S. dispatching experience — mandatory.
• Strong understanding of Dry Van / Reefer freight specifics (securement, equipment, temperature monitoring, weight limits).
• Confident communication and negotiation skills with brokers and drivers.
• Knowledge of HOS regulations and ability to plan compliant schedules.
• English level: Intermediate+ (spoken and written).
• Stress-resilient, organized, and results-oriented mindset.

Working Hours

Remote - Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM — 4:00 PM CST

Compensation

Commission-based: 1.75−2.5% of gross revenue (average $3,000-$7,000/month depending on performance).
