Who are we

KEBA Novi Sad was established in 2012 as a subsidiary of the Austrian company KEBA AG, which has been operating since 1968 in Linz. In addition to industrial automation being our primary business focus, we are also expanding our interests into areas such as electromobility, energy automation, banking automation, logistics, and more.

What would you do in KEBA

We are looking for a new team member with proven experience in mobile and/or backend development to join our engineering team. As a Fullstack Developer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cloud-based mobile applications and backend services - specifically for the KEBA eMobility portal and app.

You will work closely with backend, mobile, and UI/UX experts in an agile team, with a primary focus on robust backend services and native mobile solutions. Full-stack involvement, including frontend contributions, is possible but not required - what matters most is depth in mobile and backend.

You can expect a variety of challenges, a strong development path within the company, and the opportunity to work with the latest Microsoft Azure technologies. As our product evolves, you may also contribute to other exciting projects across KEBA.

Please note: This is primarily an on-site position - remote work is not the norm in our team.

What you'll bring

  • Strong, hands-on experience with Swift and native iOS development.
  • Experience in designing and building robust backend services using Spring Boot, with strong Java and/or Kotlin skills.
  • Familiarity with Azure services for cloud-based deployment and infrastructure.
  • Experience with Angular and TypeScript is a welcome bonus, though not a primary requirement.
  • Experience with tools like GitLab, Jira, and Confluence, and comfortable working in an agile/Scrum environment.
  • BSc (minimum) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 3 years of professional experience in the relevant technologies.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently, with a genuine passion for software quality and clean architecture.
  • Strong English communication skills, written and verbal.
