Fullstack JavaScript Engineer

As a Full-stack JavaScript Developer, you will join a project called Lean Library with a mission to help students and researchers get to the resources they need most quickly and easily possible, while still maintaining their privacy and security.

The ideal candidate:

• Has a minimum of 4+ years of experience working with JavaScript
• Has experience with similar commercial projects (NestJS)
• Holds a Bachelor’s or Master's degree
• Able to work independently
• Must desire to learn new skills and keep up to date with advances in development tools and frameworks
• Has perfect verbal and written English
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools is preferred
• Experience with full-text search engines like Elasticsearch or Apache Solr is a plus

Has experience working with the following:

• JavaScript (ES2015+) / Typescript
• NodeJS/NestJS/ReactJS
• PostgreSQL
• Elasticsearch or Apache Solr

Working conditions:

• Working hours: 9-17h, not open to flexible hours
• Position is hybrid, once a week in the office with the team
