Fullstack PHP Developer - Laravel

We're looking for a skilled full stack developer who loves writing clean object-oriented PHP and isn't afraid to jump into the frontend when the work calls for it. At Qwertify, you'll be a core part of small, focused teams shipping real products used by thousands of people — from web platforms and SaaS dashboards to mobile applications and internal tools.

You'll work across the entire stack: designing APIs, building scalable backend systems, shaping the frontend with React, and making decisions that actually impact how the product looks and feels. Your day-to-day

• Work on diverse projects from initial architecture through to production
• Design and build server-side architecture with Laravel
• Build clean, performant React frontends that pair well with your APIs
• Write maintainable, well-tested code that you'd be happy to read six months from now
• Architect and integrate REST APIs
• Optimize database schemas, queries, and performance
• Set up and maintain development and production environments
• Troubleshoot, debug, refactor, and keep things moving forward
• Collaborate with designers, mobile developers, and product owners to ship features that work end-to-end

Your qualifications

• 2+ years of proven experience with PHP, with strong command of object-oriented programming
• Excellent knowledge of Laravel (Eloquent, queues, events, testing, the whole ecosystem)
• Solid experience with React on the frontend (hooks, state management, modern patterns)
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript / TypeScript
• Comfortable designing and consuming REST APIs
• Good grasp of object-oriented concepts, SOLID principles, and common design patterns
• Solid experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) — schema design, indexing, query optimization
• Confident with Git and standard branching workflows
• Familiar with deployment pipelines, basic Linux server administration, and CI/CD concepts

Nice to have (big plus)

• Experience with React Native — we build a lot of mobile apps and full stack developers who can contribute to mobile too are highly valued
• Experience with Next.js or SSR frameworks
• TypeScript on both backend (via tooling) and frontend
• Experience with caching layers (Redis), search engines (Elasticsearch, Meilisearch)
• Background in real-time systems (WebSockets, Pusher, Laravel Reverb)
• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Hetzner, DigitalOcean, Docker)
• Experience with payment integrations, third-party APIs, or fiscal/POS systems
