We are looking for: Galvanization Operator

Tasks

• Work in accordance with established chemical industry/galvanizing work methods, requirements and procedures
• Proper handling of hazardous substances in accordance with environmental, health and safety norms
• Etching, chrome plating and browning of components according to specifications
• Electrolytic and chemical removal of thermal coatings, metal plating of silver, chrome and nickel
• Electrolytic coating of components with layers of silver, chromium and nickel
• Support wastewater activities, supply and disposal, especially basic cleaning, maintenance, quality assurance, control and adjustment
• Preparation for processing of engine components and processing of manual repairs in accordance with applicable instructions, as well as post-processing of components
• Execution of simple heat treatment tasks
• Cleaning of engine parts in accordance with applicable regulations, requirements and instructions
• Proper handling of chemicals
• Setting up equipment for the task
• Measuring parts with standard process measuring equipment
• Execution of predefined automated processes in the software and monitoring their completion
• Preparing and filling out necessary work documentation
• Visual inspection and simple tests of repaired parts
• Equipment troubleshooting / restarting machines after troubleshooting / commissioning of maintained equipment
• Adoption of new tools, repair methods, machinery and equipment
• Following and meeting KPIs aligned with organizational goals
• Maintaining the workplace clean, organized and ready for work
• Collaboration with colleagues to maintain quality, safety and production performance objectives at required levels

Requirements

• Experience in galvanization and wastewater treatment
• MS Office, Excel, preferably SAP
• Shift work
• Strong team player, high reliability, independent execution of calculations, skilled craft skills, desirable methodical approach, ability to foresee in the context of the whole
• English language – technical knowledge, good verbal communication, understanding and reading
