Are you analytical, proactive, and motivated to drive accurate global planning and optimized inventory levels? Do you enjoy collaborating across functions, managing product lifecycles, and improving demand and supply processes?

Join us as a Global Supply Chain Planner, where you will lead rolling monthly planning, steer global stock performance and KPIs, and contribute to continuous improvement and selected global supply chain projects.

Your job

  • In this role you will be part of the global supply chain organization and responsible for the monthly rolling demand & supply planning of finished and trading goods, aligned with all related SCM functions as well as Sales, PM and further Business Divisions
  • You actively plan and handle assigned product groups  including phase-in/phase-out.
  • You monitor and optimize the global stock of your product groups, control inventories across all companies’ warehouse locations within set stock targets.
  • You continuously identify optimization potential, and thus improve planning accuracy with regards to delivery service, production planning and inventory control.
  • You keep track of given KPIs and set corrective actions where needed.
  • You are responsible for the global inventory levels including product obsolescence and service KPI for your product groups.
  • Furthermore you will be working in selected global supply chain projects

Your profile

  • To be successful in this role, you have significant working experience (> 3 years) in operational supply planning as well as inventory management.
  • You have worked in a global and complex environment with a matrix organizational set-up and have a deep understanding of materials management.
  • A University degree is preferred, ideally in economics or engineering.
  • Solid understanding of SAP are a must, experience in SAP-IBP demand planning; SAP-APO, SNP and PP/DS are beneficiary.
  • Ideally you will be APICS accredited or equivalent.
  • You are fluent in English, German language skills are a plus.
  • You are experienced in lateral leadership and capable of lateral and structural thinking.
  • On a personal level, you are a strong team player with the ability to work and act in the interest of the team and you enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience with others.
  • You are able to prioritize your own workload and work on your own initiative within a working environment with multiple diverse priorities and a high transformational character.
