As Group Investment Controller (m/f/d), you play a central role in the financial steering of global investment activities within an international automotive supplier. Based in the Shared Service Center in Serbia, you operate at group level with direct exposure and close alignment with the Headquarter Controlling organization.

You combine operational investment controlling with governance, reporting, and stakeholder coordination. The role requires structured analytical work as well as confident interaction with investment owners, treasury, and senior management across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate global Steering Committees Invest, including preparation, moderation support, and follow-up
• Prepare high-quality investment reporting for Executive Board and Supervisory Board decision-making
• Perform monthly closing activities related to investments at group level
• Perform all relevant budget and forecast related activities
• Ensure operational control of investment projects within the SAP system
• Act as central finance contact for investment owners worldwide, ensuring transparency and alignment
• Prepare weekly and monthly investment reports with a focus on status, risks, and financial impact
• Conduct profitability and economic efficiency analyses for investment projects
• Coordinate closely with Treasury regarding the impact of investment activities on net debt and financial steering

Your Profile

You are an experienced finance professional with a strong background in investment controlling within an international industrial environment. You combine analytical depth with clear communication and are comfortable operating in cross-border structures with diverse stakeholders.

Must-haves

• Degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in investment controlling or group controlling
• Solid experience in the automotive industry or a comparable industrial environment
• Proven expertise in investment controlling and economic evaluation of projects
• Sound knowledge of IFRS
• Strong analytical skills and structured working style
• Confident communication skills and professional presence
• Ability to coordinate and steer global stakeholders and investment planning processes
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Fluent English (spoken and written)

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of SAP Investment Management (IM) module
• German language skills
