Who are we?

The German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (AHK Serbia) is part of the global network of bilateral German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHKs). With more than 450 member companies, we are the largest bilateral business-oriented membership organization in Serbia. Our core mission is to promote German-Serbian economic relations. Our current strategic priorities include Green Economy & Sustainability, Lifelong Learning & Dual Education, as well as Innovation & Digitalization.

Therefore, we are looking for:

Head of Membership and Communications

• holding a university degree in Economics, Organizational Sciences, Management, Communication Sciences, International
• Relations, or a comparable qualification,
• with fluent Serbian and English language skills (minimum C1 level); knowledge of German is considered an advantage,
• possessing a strong understanding of sales and business development,
• demonstrating a strong customer- and service-oriented mindset.

Your responsibilities:

• Maintaining and developing relationships with members
• Acquiring new members
• Planning, preparing, and organizing events for members
• Preparing, organizing, and coordinating the Chamber’s General Assemblies
• Acquiring sponsorships
• Driving the digitalization of the membership area, especially CRM systems, member apps, feedback tools, etc.
• Contributing to cross-departmental Chamber activities
• Leading and managing employees within the department
