Due to a high demand we are opening the position of: Housekeeping Supervisor

Job description

The employee in this position is responsible for assisting the hotel’s Executive Housekeeper in supervising/managing/controlling the entire housekeeping department, laundry service and public areas, as well as replacing them in cases where they are prevented from executing their duties.

Basic duties

• Assists the hotel’s Executive Housekeeper with the distribution of daily tasks to the maids
• Gives instructions, supervises and executes services that must be at the level of the hotel category
• Controls the cleanliness, hygiene and correctness of all facilities, especially in the rooms, as well as the representation of standards in the rooms
• Assists the hotel’s Executive Housekeeper with the organization of order, cleanliness in all hotel rooms and around the hotel
• Takes care of the cleanliness of bed linen and laundry and other textiles within the household
• Assists maids in maintenance, cleaning of rooms and other rooms in the hotel in case of increased occupancy of the hotel
• Cooperates with the technical service and other services within the hotel Performs other tasks within the household at the behest of the hotel’s Executive Housekeeper

Please note that experience in the same or similar positions is necessary.

Requirements

• Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role
• Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations
• Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products
• Excellent organizational and team management skills
• Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
• Good knowledge of English will be considered a plus
