About us:

Apoddo is a software development-as-a-service company. We specialize in providing software development services to small and medium-sized businesses in the United States. Currently, we employ 50+ full-time engineers and another 20+ hourly engaged experts. We are looking for a motivated and people-oriented HR Recruiter to join our team and support our growing hiring needs. As our number of open positions and applications continues to increase, we need someone who can take ownership of the initial stages of the recruitment process and help ensure a smooth and efficient candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct first-round interviews with candidates (screening calls/interviews)
  • Evaluate candidate qualifications, communication skills, and cultural fit
  • Collaborate closely with the HR Manager
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and feedback
  • Support the overall recruitment process and help improve hiring workflows

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in recruitment or HR (preferably in the IT industry)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to assess candidates effectively and make informed recommendations
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
