Job title: HR Recruiter
Location: Čačak, Serbia
Your Role
As an HR Recruiter, you will take ownership of high-volume hiring activities across production and operational areas. You will act as a key operational partner to production, logistics, and maintenance, ensuring timely and efficient staffing of critical roles. Your work will have a direct and measurable impact on productivity, workforce stability, and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process (operators, helpers, technicians, logistics, maintenance).
- Execute high-volume hiring campaigns aligned with production plans and staffing needs.
- Collaborate closely with line managers to define workforce requirements and shift needs.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies using job portals, local channels, referrals, and direct sourcing.
- Cooperate with National Employment Service (NSZ) and external recruitment agencies.
- Organize and conduct candidate screening, interviews, and selection days or hiring campaigns.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with internal recruitment processes and labor regulations.
- Support onboarding activities and ensure smooth integration of new hires into production.
- Monitor recruitment KPIs (time-to-hire, fulfillment rate, turnover in probation) and provide regular reporting.
- Continuously improve recruitment processes to increase efficiency and hiring quality.
Day in the Life
This role is fast-paced, operational, and closely connected to daily production needs, requiring strong coordination and quick decision-making.
- Morning alignment with production managers on staffing gaps, absenteeism, and urgent hiring needs.
- Managing multiple open roles with short deadlines and adjusting priorities daily.
- Active sourcing through agencies, job portals, walk-ins, and local employment channels.
- Conducting quick and efficient interviews focused on operational fit and availability.
- Organizing hiring days and coordinating group selection processes.
- Maintaining continuous communication with candidates and hiring managers.
- Preparing hiring documentation and ensuring compliance with HR processes..
- Tracking recruitment progress and adapting strategy based on workforce demands
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Economics, Psychology, or related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in recruitment or HR operations, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of Serbian labor market.
- Experience in high-volume recruitment is a strong advantage.
- Experience working with recruitment agencies and external partners.
- Basic knowledge of labor law and HR administration.
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
- Hands-on approach with high level of ownership and accountability.
- Fluent English; German is an advantage.
