LABENA Belgrade laboratory, medical and analytical equipment importer, invites all candidates to apply for public competition for position: Import and Supply Officer

Title: Import and Supply Officer (1 positon)

Labena is a well-established company with 33 years of experience in distribution of technological solutions for laboratory, medical diagnostics and analytics. Our main activities are sales and service of technological solutions in the field of laboratory analytics, in medical and food industries and research institutes where we cooperate with the world's most reliable companies. We work in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Northern Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro.

Job description:

Import and Export of goods in coordination with customs clearance agency, preparation of documents for external Accounting and execution of internal goods accounting, Administration, documents for Bank, preparation of Tender documents, taking care of compliance with the Local Laws for Goods, Customs, Waste management, Support to sales and to other colleagues (three colleagues in the Administration team)
LOCATION: BELGRADE (Novi Beograd)

Business tasks:

Work: 8 hours a day (8.a.m- 4 p.m. or 8.30 a.m- 4.30 p.m.)
office work 95%
work outside the office 5%
Active and up-to-date support to professional associates
Cooperation with superiors and colleagues in the local team and other Labena countries
Active use of ERP program for Company support (prior experience with Pantheon, Datalab will be reagarded as additional asset).
Invoicing to customers according to contracts, pro forma invoices, reports
Experience in preparing documents for tender application, monitoring and tender submission
Preparation for shipments / deliveries of goods to customers, as well as the shipment to customers or sending by courier
Company warehouse management and stock status (accounting of the goods)
Import and export of goods in accordance with the company's procedures and applicable Laws
Organization of seminars and technical assistance to the team regarding the implementation procedures
Responding to inquiries arriving by mail or telephone or directly to urgent inquiries forwarded by a field salesman
High level of communication skills to customers
Regular and active reporting on completed tasks and activities within the office
Stand-by person in the office ( Taking responsibility for office work while Sales in the field )
Readiness for professional development (Learning professional things) in all areas of sales of business interest
Other jobs required for continuous work in the work organization
Active use of written and spoken English

Desirable qualifications:

Experience in import of medical devices is an advantage but not necessary prerequisite
Experience with Pantheon ERP software is an advantage
Candidate should be well organized, excellent on follow up and tasks monitoring
Necessary background: high schopl or higher education in Economics, Business administration, Accounting, etc.
Minimum 3 years of work in the same (import of the laboratory goods) or similar field (CV with less work experience will not be considered)
Active use of written and spoken English (fluent command) - Daily duties include spoken and written communication with foreign suppliers

Drivers licence category "B" is not necessary but preferable
