Industrial Planner - Railway sector

Are you a master of balancing demand and resources? SEGULA Technologies is seeking an Industrial Planner to optimize production at our client’s railway manufacturing site. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that Manufacturing and Procurement resources are aligned to reach Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Demand Management: Capture and analyze demand forecasts from tender and project teams to build the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Capacity Planning: Perform workload versus workforce analysis to identify bottlenecks and propose recovery scenarios.
• SIOP Coordination: Participate in the Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) cycle, providing simulations to support strategic decision-making.
• Inventory Control: Report Work In Progress (WIP) and Finished Goods (FG) for hard inventory consolidation.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Finance to ensure data in the ERP/Core Planning Tools is accurate and updated.

Qualifications & Skills

• Industry Experience: Proven experience in supply chain or planning within the Railway sector.
• Education: Master’s degree from a University or Engineering school.
• Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (GSI/SAP), Core Planning Tools, and Excel.
• Competencies: Strong sense of urgency, ability to synthesize critical issues, and a customer-oriented mindset. Fluent English is required.
