JOB VACANCY
The Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia in Belgrade invites applications from suitable candidates for the post of Interpreter/Translator - Administrative Assistant
NAME OF THE POST:Interpreter/Translator - Administrative Assistant
Brief Description of Job:
-Consecutive and simultaneous interpretation.
-Translation of written documents between French; English and Serbian language.
-Perform administrative support functions under the supervision of the embassy accountant.
-Managing supplies for the embassy and residence; physical organization of stock; preparing and updating stock files.
-Managing accounting tasks (PDV forms/ social security declaration/law of public procurement).
-Searching and contacting suppliers for Embassy purchases.
-Preparing contracts, purchase order of the embassy with suppliers.
-Provide secretarial support: reception duties; managing correspondence and calls.
-Planning, coordinating and executing events.
-Managing daily schedules, appointments and meetings.
-Coordination and logistics of travel arrangements.
-Performing other tasks as required by the Embassy.
Educational qualifications and required skills:
-University Degree / bachelor degree in a relevant field.
-Language skills: Total fluency in French, Serbian and English
-Excellent computer skills : word /excel/mailing /Social media skills
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.
-Some knowledge of Serbian labor law, commercial law
-Strong organizational and time management skills
-Discretion and interpersonal skills
-A team player with open mind and interest in working in a multicultural environment.
-A keen eye for details and a very strong sense of responsibility
Experience:
-Previous experience in administration and interpretation is an asset.
Type of contract:
One year fixed term contract (six month trial period), with the possibility of switching to permanent contract.
Conditions of practice:
-the candidate must reside in Serbia, it should be noted also that there is no possibility of working remotely.
-high availability is required to respond to peak activity period at the embassy, including outside of working hours and exceptionally on weekends.
Emoluments:
-The gross monthly salary upon hiring amounts to 1760 Euros to which added meal and transport allowances of 200 Euros per month in accordance with law.
