About the Role

We are seeking an interpreter/translator to support communication between our Korean project team
and local Serbian stakeholders (client, authorities, contractors, and suppliers) throughout the design,
construction, and operation of the Expo 2027 Belgrade.

Position Title : Interpreter / Translator
Location : Belgrade, Serbia
Project : Design, fabrication, construction, operation and dismantling of the Belgrade Expo Pavilions
Employment Type : Project-based local direct employment (Contract)
Employment Period : 1-year (estimate). From the design stage through fabrication, construction,
operations and completion of dismantling

Requirements/Qualifications

• Serbian (native)
• Fluent English (required)
• Korean proficiency (strongly preferred)
• Based in or able to work in Belgrade

Preference/Advantage

• Prior experience in interpreting and translating in the fields of construction, exhibitions, or large-scale projects
• Familiarity with expo/exhibition terminology
• Availability for on-site work during peak construction and operation phases

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consecutive interpretation during meetings, site visits, and negotiations
• Translate project documents, correspondence, and official communications
• Support day-to-day coordination between the Korean team and Serbian counterparts
• Assist with liaison to local authorities, contractors, and vendors as needed
