As a Junior Accountant, you will be dealing with posting journal entries, preparing financial statements, and maintaining accounts receivable or payable. Overseeing the general accounting, customers, and suppliers, ensuring correctness and compliance with the regulations in force will also be required.

Responsibilities:

• Collecting, controlling, and archiving documentation relevant to business activities;
• Preparation of journal entries and posting of the invoices into the accounting system;
• Keeping and posting of the cash register;
• Account analysis and bank reconciliations;
• Responsibility for accuracy and correctness of the documentation, compliance with local legislation, as well as group rules and procedures;
• Booking of passive invoices;
• GL bookings;
• Tax compliance (CU, VAT, and direct taxes);
• Supports reporting and monthly closing activities;
• Controlling employee expenses on the SAP Concur platform.

Required skills and expertise:

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and disciplined to make plans and execute them without day-to-day management.

• University degree in Economics (preferably in accounting, audit, and financial management);
• Experience requested: working at least 1 year in an accounting or corporate finance department;
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office – especially Excel;
• General familiarity with BI tools and other software packages (ERP/CRM), while experience in Microsoft Navision is advantageous;
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and rules;
• Fluency in English;
• Devoted to details and likes new challenges;
• Accuracy, analytical thinking, autonomy, and the ability to work in a team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
