Junior Data Analyst - Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and analytical Junior Data Analyst/Engineer to join our Data Team and support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our data platform and data management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure data quality and accuracy of data received from various business applications and systems.
• Participate in data mapping activities and maintain processes that ensure data consistency and integrity.
• Support the design, development, and enhancement of data architecture in collaboration with the team.
• Develop and maintain data transformation processes within the Data Platform.
• Apply business logic through SQL queries and data processing activities.
• Create, maintain, and improve Power BI reports.
• Contribute to the automation and optimization of business and data-related processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and team activities.

Basic Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in a Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or similar role (including internships and relevant projects).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of T-SQL.
• Basic experience with Power BI.
• Understanding of database concepts and data processing principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Data Warehouse and ETL/ELT concepts.
• Understanding basic data modeling principles.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and technologies.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
