Junior Finance Officer

(1,5 years position)

Belgrade

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Accounting - maintaining accounting records/booking in to Banana Software
• Partner financial monitoring and field visits to partners
• Supporting Local Audit
• E banking - preparation of payment transactions/orders and 1st signature
• Procurement – conducting Risk Analysis of potential partners, commenting/approving of the draft Contracts
• Budgeting on project level
• VAT exemption
• HR administration – creating Working Contracts, Terms of Reference, Time Sheets and communication with Payroll company
• Supporting monthly and quarterly reporting
• Update on Finance Manual, NPR and other manuals
• Financial trainings of operational staff and assistance to PM; Capacity building of partners on rules and regulations
• Other monthly tasks: Reporting, Budget monitoring, Cash Flow planning and monitoring, Bank Reconciliations, etc.

Requirements:

• University degree in Finances
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in accounting and finance management of projects
• Advanced level of English language, written and spoken
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), local accounting software
• Previous experience of working in non-governmental organizations will be considered as a plus
