Soufflet Malt, part of the InVivo Group, is the global leader in malt production, serving customers in the brewing and distilling industries worldwide.

Our EMEA Shared Service Center in Novi Sad is a newly established organization providing accounting and finance services to Soufflet Malt entities across Europe. We are building a collaborative, international team where people have the opportunity to grow professionally, contribute to process improvements and help shape the future of our SSC from the very beginning.

Are you a recent graduate or an early-career professional looking to grow in accounting and finance?

Join an international company that is part of one of the world's largest agricultural groups and a global leader in malt production, supplying customers across the brewing and food industries worldwide.

As a Junior GL Accountant, you'll work closely with experienced GL Leads and Senior Accountants who will support your development from day one. You'll gain exposure to multiple countries, accounting processes, and finance systems while building a strong foundation for a successful career in finance.

What you'll do

  • Support daily accounting activities and prepare journal entries such as accruals, prepayments and allocations.
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and help resolve discrepancies.
  • Support intercompany accounting and reconciliations across multiple entities.
  • Assist with fixed asset accounting, depreciation and capital expenditure tracking.
  • Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and finance-related projects.
  • Support knowledge transfer and transition activities as new markets are integrated into our organization.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
  • Previous accounting experience or internships are an advantage, but not required.
  • Good Excel skills and an interest in finance systems and technology.
  • Fluent English.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to work.
