Junior Test Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated and results-driven JUNIOR TEST ENGINEER to join our IMI team.

General purpose of the job

We are looking for a Junior Test Engineer to support the operation of test systems for electronic modules in a production environment. The role includes ensuring the reliability of test equipment and programs used on production lines, as well as participation in continuous improvement of testing processes.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Participation in FMEA activities
• Participation in launching and commissioning of test equipment in production
• Maintenance and updating of test programs in production
• Definition, documentation and safeguarding of Golden Samples
• Creation and updating of work instructions
• Monitoring and follow-up of test system performance in production lines
• Application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods for data analysis
• Analysis of test failures and support in root cause identification

Required personal and professional skills:

• University degree in a technical field (preferred: Computer Systems and Technologies, Electronics, Electrical Measurements, Production Automation or similar)
• Knowledge of electronic measurement systems and measurement equipment parameters
• Understanding of electronic schematics and ability to analyze circuit designs
• Knowledge of statistical process control and quality control methods
• Basic programming knowledge (C/C++, Pascal) is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of databases is an advantage
• Experience with PC-based interfaces for measurement and peripheral devices
• Intermediate level of English language
• Team-oriented mindset
• Good communication skills
