KICKSTART - Strategy and Corporate Development Specialist - intern

As a Strategy and Corporate Development Specialist - Intern, you'll support Yettel's Strategy team in strategic planning, market analysis, business case development, and other initiatives that help shape the company's future. Working closely with experienced colleagues, you'll gain hands-on experience across a variety of strategic projects while developing your analytical and business skills. This internship is designed for final-year students and recent graduates interested in building a career in strategy, consulting, telecommunications, or digital business.

What we will expect from you:

• Support research on market trends, emerging technologies, AI, digital products, telecommunications developments, and adjacent industries.
• Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing market intelligence from industry reports, research agencies, public sources, and internal inputs.
• Support evaluation of new business opportunities, growth initiatives, and future business models through research, benchmarking, and structured analysis.
• Assist in the tracking and coordination of selected strategic initiatives (e.g., roadmap and transformation activities), including key milestones, progress updates, and dependencies.
• Help prepare presentations, reports, and executive materials for strategic discussions and management meetings, with a special focus on the Long-Term Plan and Mid-Year Review processes.
• Contribute to business case development through research, benchmarking, data analysis, and basic financial modelling.
• Support market sizing, forecasting, competitive analysis, and scenario development using Excel, PowerPoint, AI tools, and other analytical tools.
• Participate in strategic discussions across different business areas and contribute ideas, insights, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Commercial, Finance, IT, Digital, AI, Customer Experience (CEX), Corporate Affairs, HR, and other business functions on strategic topics, business opportunities, and company-wide priorities.
• Continuously build knowledge of the Serbian telecommunications market, technology ecosystem, and broader business environment.

For a good start you will need:

• Final-year Bachelor's or Master's student, or a recent graduate in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, IT, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in corporate strategy and business transformation.
• Curiosity about telecommunications, AI, digital products, market trends, and new business models.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data analysis, visualization, or AI tools is a plus.
• Excellent English communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to learn and collaborate.
